Teak has long been used in outdoor furniture and is generally thought of as being the very best wood for the job. Teak furniture is sure to give many years of use due to the oil rich and high density of the wood. To help maintain the golden yellow look it is recommended to treat the wood regularly whilst, if left untreated, it will age into a silver grey. All the teak furniture we sell is manufactured from grade ‘A’ teak cultivated from government certified plantations, ensuring reforestation and protection of the rainforests. The teak furniture is constructed using traditional techniques of mortise & tenon, dowels and glued joints with brass fittings, that will not rust, where necessary.
